Missouri Keeping Busy
The Missouri JCI Senate has been busy, whether it be with our largest Return the Favor program at the Jefferson City Jaycees Cole County Fair, or socializing at Fun in the Sun, Springfield Cardinals baseball, or our 35th Celebration (with President Mike O’Connell).
Even with that very full schedule the past couple of months, we are not sitting still. Well, maybe we are but we are still performing more RTF activities at the Missouri Jaycees fall state meeting in St. Charles the weekend of September 10-12. With the assistance of VP Lea Ann Smith, the Missouri JCI Senate will be providing all trainers for the Jaycees that weekend, as well as running their Jaycee competitions on Friday and Saturday. Of course, we will have our legendary hospitality, so you know we will be having a great time swapping stories and keeping those valuable friendships alive. Want to get in on the fun? Just e-mail me at %74%6c%76%69%6e%34%31%32%40%73%62%63%67%6c%6f%62%61%6c%2e%6e%65%74 and we can chat about what is happening and when in the exciting city of St. Charles.

I have attached a copy of the Scholarship Application and Scholarship Information for each of you to have for informational purposes. When you are traveling or communicating with your states and you get questions, maybe this might help. Your Foundation Regional Reps can help also with any questions. I encourage you to promote the Scholarship Program, because as you probably already know, not every state Senate organization participate, and we are always looking to get more of them involved.
Please never hesitate to contact me if you have questions.
Thanks for your help,

Return the Favor
Are you going to mentor, train or work a Jaycee project? Great! Make a copy of this form and take it along with you. Have an officer of the Jaycee chapter sign it at the bottom. Then send it to your state’s Return the Favor program manager along with the information needed to complete the form. A signed form is needed for every project you Senators work in order for it to be considered for any National Awards or Regional Awards. Help your program managers out-get it signed -and return it to them.
