Welcome to our home page for the Senators of Region VI,

I am truly honored and humbled to be representing you and Region VI this year. I am excited and looking forward to traveling throughout the region and beyond this coming year. I am planning to meet as many Senators and Jaycees as I can in the next year. I have a strong legacy to live up to in the next twelve months. As the year goes on, reach out and let me know how the region can help you.

The phrase “Boots on the Ground”, which is this year’s theme, has been around for a long time. It has been used in many contexts, used to mean various things. This year it refers to and reminds me of the mentors that have shaped mine and your lives and Jaycee careers. The man that taught me my work ethics, my dad, wore work boots. He was a silent teacher and taught me thru example. The Sikeston Jaycees that guided me in my Jaycee career wore mostly cowboy boots. The conversations and guidance I received while sitting on the tailgate or leaning against the bed of a pickup truck, working out at our rodeo grounds was life changing. These gentlemen laid the groundwork for me to accomplish the things I have in the Jaycees, preparing me for this year. I plan to be a part of regional activities, as well as Jaycee chapter activities. I intend to continue to mentor the younger Jaycees and Senators I come in contact with.

Our focus project for this year will again be Alzheimer’s, but focused on education.
